It looks great in theory, but don't believe the size 8/16 rating. My wife is size 10/12 (depending on manufacturer), but she couldn't get it more than half way up, which gave a ridiculous "builder's bum" look. Not what we were hoping for! For those still interested, and frustrated trying to find a picture of the front anywhere on the net, it is plain red, semi sheer and quite square-cut. Nice enough but lacier would have been better; the manufacturer has clearly put all their effort into the back. In summary, the idea was great but the execution somewhat lacking.
Customer Care Response: We are sorry that this item was not a success for the customer and his wife. We work with the sizing as supplied by the manufacturer. Following the return of this order we did actually take this item, plus two other designs which do not have adjustable straps and one of our staff - a definite size 12 - tried each on over her jeans. All three fitted well, although to be fair the Sem Chance was the tightest - so we have amended the sizing range on this item to be suitable for UK8 to UK12.
