Lingerie from ever-so-sexy.com is very special and we are sure you will want to look after it well.  Satin, silk, velvet and lace is used in the manufacture of the luxury lingerie we sell and as a general rule all lingerie should be treated as delicate and therefore always hand washed unless otherwise stated on the garment label.

Machine washing reduces the elasticity of a garment such as a bra, body or thong and can cause colour fade.  Also, because much of the lingerie is made with lace, satin ribbons, crystals, beads, and silk, the harsh environment and tumbling action of a washing machine is most likely to cause damage.

While hand washing your lingerie, make sure that you use a very mild soap. Chemical detergents should always be avoided. Lingerie should be washed very gently in luke warm water.  Never rub or scrub your lingerie.  There are some special products that you can buy  that are specifically designed for washing delicate garments like silk and lace underwear, but an ordinary mild soap will do as well, making sure that you rinse thoroughly after the wash.  For silk lingerie, you can add a very small amount of white vinegar to the rinse - this ensures that any remaining soap is neutralized and restores the silk's natural sheen. Give the lingerie a final rinse in clear, cool water to remove the smell of vinegar. Roll your lingerie up in a towel to remove moisture, then dry flat on a towel. Do not tumble dry your luxury lingerie - ever!
